Gertrude (Lee) Burrows

Gertrude Lee Burrows, 95, wife of the late Theodore H. Burrows, died Friday, November 17, 2017, in Lake City.

Mrs. Burrows was born on April 6, 1922 in Florence County, daughter of the late Furman Lee and Eula Wilkes Lee.  She was a member of Kingstree First Assembly of God.

Surviving are her children, Brenda (Robert Milton) Allen of Florence, Judy Morris of Lake City, Reverend Raymond D. (Victoria) Burrows of Taylors, Richard (Ramona) Burrows of Kingstree and Murray (Lori Ann) Burrows of Lake City; grandchildren, Todd Morris, Joy Morris, Timothy (Tammie) Burrows, Brantley (Deane) Burrows and Anna (Thomas McClellan) Burrows; great grandchildren, Hannah Morris, Ashley Burrows, Brandon Burrows, Emma Kyle Burrows, Maggie Burrows and Carter Burrows.

Mrs. Burrows was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Murphy Morris.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, and other times at the home of Murray and Lori Ann Burrows, 1236 New Zion Road, Lake City.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Juanita Clifford and Mary Ann Rainey for their care and concern for Mrs. Burrows during this time.
