Lawrence Travis Parker, 44, of Lake City, died Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Travis was born on September 4, 1977, in Florence County, son of the late Johnny Parker and Mertie Lee Osborne. He was a welder for 27 years, loved to camp, fish, and dance. Travis was a wonderful father, who loved and cherished his family and always had a smile on his face.
Surviving are his significant other, Sonya Feagin of Lake City; sons, Joshua Parker of Scranton and Jacob “Bubba” Parker of Lake City; daughter, Hailey Parker of Lake City; extra daughters, Josie Rogers and Britany McGee, both of Lake City; sisters, Maxine (Ray) Baker of Olanta, Mellie (Michael) Brown of Summerville, Sam (Ed) Smith of Florence and Paula Phillips of Turbeville; brothers, Mike (Kym) Phillips of Macedonia and Bill (Gretta) Phillips of Johnsonville; special nephew, Cody (Mary) Kessler of Lake City; special friends, John Matthews of Lake City and Jimbo Evans of Coward; special cousin, Sammy Parker; mother-in-law, Cindy Feagin of Scranton; many nephews and nieces; many great nephews and nieces.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Marjorie Parker; mother, Mertie Osborne; sister, Sissy Phillips; friend, Travis Powell; father-in-law, J.L. Feagin.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation following the service.
