Terry Floyd Bruton

Terry Floyd Bruton, 62, husband of the late Linda G. Bruton, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Mr. Bruton was born on March 3, 1959, in Florence County, son of Thomas Floyd Bruton and the late Selva Jean Matthews Bruton. Terry worked in Construction and attended Pleasant Grove Church of God of Prophecy. He was an avid NASCAR fan, die hard Clemson fan, pool shark, and fisherman. Terry loved his family, dogs, friends and making them all laugh.

Surviving are his father, Thomas "Tommy" Floyd Bruton of Coward; daughter, Taylor (Jordan) Bruton of Asheville, NC; mother of his daughter, Sherry Cordle of Florence; brother, Richard “Ricky” Dean (Karen) Bruton of Evergreen; sister, Sandra B. (Anthony) Galloway of Effingham; special aunt, Judy (Jim) Norwood of Florence; four nieces and one nephew.

Mr. Bruton was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Giordano Bruton and his mother, Selva Jean Bruton.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation to follow after service.
