Teresa Puckett Benton, 61, wife of Russell Allen Benton, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Teresa was born on February 2, 1961, in South Boston, Virginia, daughter of the late Hugh Brantley Puckett and Wilma Snead Puckett. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and Trident Technical College. She was a COTA with Encompass Health.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Russell “Russ” Benton of Pamplico; daughters, Whitney Benton (Randy) Aguilar; Lauren Benton (Cody) Stanton, both of Pamplico; grandchildren, Sydney (fiancé Jacob Daves) Aguilar; Kinsley Aguilar, Kesler Stanton and Brantley Stanton, all of Pamplico; siblings, Michael (Susan) Puckett of Coward and Brenda (Kenny) Campbell of Gaffney; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Pamplico, with burial to follow at Prosser Cemetery, Pamplico.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
