Sue Bailey Obituary

Ella Sue Bailey, 77, wife of Frank Bailey, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at her daughter's residence, after an illness.

Mrs. Bailey was born on January 10, 1943 in Florence County, daughter of the late Boyd Hicks and Effie Alice Powell Hicks. She was a member of Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Frank Bailey of Scranton; daughter, Susan (Robbie) McKnight of Effingham; and grandson, Austin McKnight of Effingham.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her son, Barry Deleon Bailey;  brothers, Jack Hicks, Billy Hicks, Bud Hicks and Toby Hicks; and sisters, Jessi Creel and Bertie Powell.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home.
