Shelby (Floyd) McCutcheon

Shelby Floyd McCutcheon, 83, wife of the late Hermas Wesley McCutcheon, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McCutcheon was born on May 18, 1937 in Florence County to the late Raymond Floyd and Loree Hill Floyd. Mrs. McCutcheon graduated High School in Kingstree and later retired from Baxter Laboratories. She was a member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. McCutcheon was an avid gardener, loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Surviving are sons, Rodney (Karen) McCutcheon and Roger (Susan) McCutcheon of Lake City; grandchildren, Chase (Morgan) Gray, Kendall Gray, Emery McCutcheon, Lauren Ard (Brandon) McCants and Brandon Ard; brother, Earl (Jonnie Lynn) Floyd of Kingstree and Dexter (Dorothy) Floyd of Kinston, NC; sister-in-law, JoAnn Floyd of Kingstree.

Mrs. McCutcheon was preceded in death by her siblings, Sonny Floyd and Mary Ellen Floyd Mims.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
