Richard "Big Rick" Elwood Howell, 60, Scranton, died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his residence.

Big Rick was born on May 4, 1962, in Florence County, son of the late Calep Elwood Howell and Mildred Hand Howell. Big Rick loved fishing, riding his Harley Davidson and drinking coffee.

Surviving are his siblings; Terri Floyd, Johnny Fowler and Jeffrey Allen of Tennessee.

Big Rick was preceded in death by a son, Richard Calep Howard and siblings, Jason Howell, James Allen and Amanda Fowler; brother-in-law, Johnny Floyd.

Per Richard’s request, there will be no service.
