Richard Oliver Wilson

Richard Oliver Wilson, 69, husband of the late Barbara Rodgers Wilson died Friday, February 21, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Wilson was born on October 14, 1950, in Florence County, son of the late John Shelton Wilson and Thelma Moore Wilson.  He was a member of Manning Presbyterian Church, Manning, SC and was a former Golf Pro at Clarendon Golf and Country Club.

Surviving are his daughters, Emily Robinson-Bair and her husband, Rusty, of Santee and Pam Wilson Long and her husband, Rhett, of Lake City; grandchildren, Delaney Peeler, Wells Robinson, Wilder Robinson, Russ (Joyce) Bair, Jamie Bair, Wilson Long, Maggie Long and Grady Long; great grandson, Dean Bair; brothers, Wayne (Sarah) Wilson, John (Lou) Wilson and Dean Wilson; sister-in-law, Mary Duke; brother-in-law, Zander (Susan) Rodgers; special friend, Emily Hatfield.

Mr. Wilson was predeceased by a son-in-law, Lonnie Robinson and his father & mother-in-law, Melvin and Florence Rodgers

Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Moore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC.
