Leon Ray Wilson, 42, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at MUSC Health, Charleston, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Wilson was born on August 21, 1980, in Clarendon County, son of Shirley “Beth” Brown Copenhaver and the late Dewight D. Wilson. He was a former truck driver for Ard’s Trucking Company.
Surviving are his mother, Shirley “Beth” Brown Copenhaver of Turbeville; brother, Jeffrey L. Wilson of Turbeville; a number of cousins, extended family and close friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Dickie Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
