Misti Jean Cox

Misti Jean Cox, 51, of Florence, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Misti was born on October 18, 1971, in Florence County, daughter of Wylie Gene Cox and the late Winnie Poston Cox.  She was a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College. Misti was a Registered Nurse with MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.  

Surviving are her father, Gene (Debbie) Cox; her fur-baby, Izzy; special friends, Dr. Lane Wilner, Traci Powell and Brandi Watford.

Misti was preceded in death by her sister, Carla Michelle Cox.

A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
