Miriam Coker Alexander Collins, 89, died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Heritage Home of Florence.
Mrs. Collins was born on November 12, 1930 in Florence County, daughter of the late Thomas Edward Coker and Barnard Dennis Coker. She was a member of Beulah Free Will Baptist Church and attended Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Collins was formerly employed with Wentworth and Coleman Company.
Surviving are her siblings, Bonnie Coker Schleuger of Johnsonville and Marion (Althea) Coker of Lake City; stepson, Bruce (Elaine) Collins of Florence, Steve (Maryanne) Collins of Pamplico and Glen Collins of Effingham.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her first husband, William Clyde Alexander and her second husband, Marvin Edward Collins; siblings, Betha Coker, Thelma Hanna, Nell Coker, Wilber Coker, Doris Coker, Edward Ray Coker and Lenwood Coker.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Scranton.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
