Mildred (Jones) Padgett

Mildred Jones Padgett, 84, wife of the late James Murry Padgett, passed away, Saturday, June 20, 2020.

Mrs. Padgett was born on October 7, 1935 in Johnsonville, daughter of the late William Reamer Jones and Violent Stone Jones.  She was a member of Mill Branch Free Will Baptist Church.  Mrs. Padgett was a homemaker and a loving mother.  

Surviving are her son, Jimmy (Clara) Padgett of Pamplico; daughter, Candice (David) Hodge of Fredricksburg, VA; granddaughters, Jabea (Justin) Talbert and Jaclyn (Rhett) Burns, both of Pamplico, and Cassie Hodge of Fredricksburg, VA; grandsons, James (Michelle) Padgett of Pamplico and Jim Hodge of Fredricksburg, VA; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel (Julian) Baird of Johnsonville and Jean(Bobby) Gallahan of Fredricksburg, VA; brother, Reace (Eulee) Jones of Florence.

Mrs. Padgett was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith Jones, Kenneth Jones and W.D. Jones.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Florence.
