Matthew "Matt" Laverne Holloman

Matthew “Matt” Laverne Holloman, 34, of Scranton, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023.

Matt was born on February 22, 1988, in Florence County, son of Tammy Lynn Baxley and Barry Laverne Holloman. Matt was a talented tatoo artist, who enjoyed music and sweet tea.

Surviving are his mother, Tammy Lynn Baxley (Mylow Graham) of Scranton; father, Barry Laverne (Alger) Holloman of Timmonsville; children, Kaliah Jaden Holloman, Alonna Kelise Holloman, Matthew Keioh Holloman and Blair Floyd; brothers, Christopher Malik Nesmith and Marlon Sincere Graham; maternal grandmother, Lynda Morris; paternal grandparents, Laverne & Linda Holloman and Dennis & Mary Osborne; aunts, Tanya McKnight and Ashley Nicole (Joseph) Skvarek; cousins, Abigail Skvarek and Dakota Skvarek; nieces, Cailonnie Nesmith and Avianna Graham; nephews, Tristan Nesmith and Caiden Nesmith; special friends, Brittany Tedder and Fay Welch (Mama Fay).

Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pat Morris; maternal great grandparents, James Milton Baxley & Hazel Lee Baxley.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
