Marie Matthews Obituary

Marie Parker Matthews, 80, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at her home in Lake City.

Mrs. Matthews was born on May 28, 1941 in Clarendon County, daughter of the late, Son Parker and Lizzie Conyers Parker. She attended Hebron school and retired from Tupperware. She was a member of Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving include her son Donald Matthews; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lianna) Matthews, Nicole (David) Parker and Haley Matthews; 7 great grands.

Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Pamela Matthews; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Levi Parker, Junior Parker, JB Parker; sisters, Helen Bragg, Honey Rogers, Joanne Mishowe.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery.
