M.L. Wise

Morris Leroy “M. L.” Wise, Jr., 61, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his residence.

M. L. was born on April 6, 1961, in Florence County, son of the late Morris Leroy Wise, Sr. and Sadie Rae Hayes Wise.  He was a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and attended Florence Darlington Technical College.  M. L. was a member of Hannah Masonic Lodge and worked forty years in construction as a foreman.

Surviving in addition to his companion of twenty-eight years, Margaret Evans; daughter, Crystal Sorensen; grandson, Ryder; his fur baby “Little Boy”, Traveler; sister, Annie McKnight; a number of nieces and nephews.

M. L. was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shelby Jean Morris.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC.
