Louis Keith Young

Louis Keith Young, 77, husband of Jaronia Burroughs Young, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Young was born on December 16, 1943, in Florence County, son of the late Early D. Young and Mazie McKnight Young. He was a graduate of Lake City High School, a member of Tabernacle Free Baptist Church and retired from Lower Pee Dee Terminix Service as manager after 38 years. Mr. Young was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Gator Bay Hunting Club. He was a master gardener and loved his family dearly.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Jaronia Burroughs Young of Scranton, are his daughters, Sherrie (Doug) Moore of Effingham and Janet (Tim) Belew of Florence; grandchildren, Kim Moore, Hope Moore and Tyler Belew; sister, Edna Sims of Hartsville; and brother, Legrande (Judy) Young of Coward.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Scott Moore and brother, Marshall Young.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 26, 2021, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church in Coward with burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, to follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
