Linda Bell “Sissy” Hopkins,55, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her home in Lake City.
Linda “Sissy” was born on April 8, 1968, in Sumter, daughter of Lillie Mae Goins Bell and the late James Herbert Bell, Sr. She was a loving mama and nana who always made sure her family was loved and provided for.
Surviving are her daughters, Chelsea “Nicki” (Antoine) Hickson and Ashley Hopkins, both of Lake City; grandsons, Travis Coker, II and Ello Coker, both of Scranton; granddaughter, Alayna Hickson of Lake City; brothers, Robert “Bubba” (Maggie) Bell and Christopher “Pete” (Shawna) Bell, both of Sumter; sister-in-law, Donna Bell of Manning; fiancé, Tony Feagin of Lake City; and other extended family members.
Linda “Sissy” was preceded in death by her brother, James Herbert Bell, Jr.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
