Linda (McCutcheon) Galloway

Linda McCutcheon Galloway, 74, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Linda was born on March 10, 1947 in Florence, daughter of the late Mervin Dewey McCutcheon and Gladys Turner McCutcheon. She was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Linda was employed by Carolina Health Care for many years. She loved yard work, knitting and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandson.

Surviving are her son, Heath (Kelli) Galloway of Valrico, FL; grandson, Nikolas Galloway of Valrico, FL; granddaughter, Amber Galloway of Sumter; great grandson, Hudson Galloway; her sister, Dianne Thomas of Coward; and nephews, Malcolm (Melinda) Thomas and Mervin (Amy) Thomas, all of Scranton.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Coward, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 26, Coward, SC 29530.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests for everyone to wear a mask and please maintain the 6 foot social distancing. The family also requests everyone to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging one another.
