Levone Clemons, Jr., 45, husband of the late Tanya Lynn Lee Clemons, died Monday, October 4, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Levone was born on January 14, 1976 in Florence County, son of Elizabeth "Beth" McCutcheon Clemons and the late Ernest Levone "Bud" Clemons. He enjoyed yard work and loved his kids.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Clemons of Lake City, are his children, Kaylee Olivia (Treyvon Mitchell) Clemons and Evan Levone Clemons, both of Florence, Zelaina Clemons and Zandra "Izzy" Clemons, both of Effingham; special children, Laylah, Zayne and Zyler; grandchildren, Nova Mitchell and Kavon Mitchell, both of Florence; mother of his children, Brittany Evans; sisters, Sharon (Robbie) Floyd of Lake City and Elaine (Glenn) Vaught of Effingham; brother, Steven (Tabitha) Clemons of Lake City; special friend, Helen Ackerman; and several nieces and nephews.
Levone was preceded in death by his brothers, Timmy Clemons and Stanley Clemons; and a sister, Amy Turbeville.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Elaine Vaught, 7371 ½ Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC, 29541.
