Kenneth L. Lyerly

Kenneth L. Lyerly, 59, husband of Cerise Eaddy Lyerly, died Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Kenneth was born on July 28, 1963, in Charleston, SC, son of the late Lloyd Lyerly and Amelia Ann Cox Lyerly. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and was the retired owner of K&C Clothing. He was an avid golfer, business man, loved to travel, and never met a stranger. He always had a story to tell and loved to make people laugh.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Cerise E. Lyerly, are his children, Scott (Trina) Evans, Andrea (Blair) Baxley and Alex (Joanna) Lyerly, all of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Haleigh (Jacob) Gaskins, Emma Grace Baxley, Gabe Baxley, Eden Baxley, Reid Lyerly and Anna Logan Lyerly; great grandchildren, Jake Gaskins and Colt Gaskins.  

Mr. Lyerly was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Chess Lyerly.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Eaddy Lawrence Family Cemetery, Johnsonville.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
