Kenneth Alton Connelly

Kenneth Alton Connelly, 76, husband of Ann McCants Connelly, died Thursday, September 17, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. Connelly was born on April 27, 1944 in Georgetown County, son of the late Tommie Connelly and Hattie Mae Downing Connelly. He was a member of Great Commission Ministries. His joys of life were wood crafting, fishing and being "Fisher of Men".

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ann McCants Connelly of Coward; children, Russell (Angie) Connelly of Morristown, TN and Regina Miles of Surfside; grandchildren, Chase Connelly and Davis Connelly, both of Morristown, TN, Kimberly Rogers of Surfside, Krystal Miles of Apex, NC, and Mary Miles of Lake City; great grandchildren, Kyleigh Rogers, Maddison Miles, Melanie Miles, Miranda Miles and Karter Curtis; brothers, Thomas (Trina) Connelly of Virginia Beach, Nelson (Nita) Connelly of Florence and Larry (Ada) Connelly of Andrews.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Amedisys Hospice for their love and care for our family during this time.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Great Commission Ministries.  Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will be at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the church prior to the services.
