Johnny Ray Floyd, 63, husband of Terri Allen Floyd, died Monday, April 5, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Floyd was born October 2, 1957 in Florence, son of the late Henry McRoy Floyd and Ruby Miles Floyd. Johnny attended Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy, where he enjoyed men’s fellowship and church activities. Mr. Floyd was a member of the motorcycle club, loved to fish, great handyman and loved to spend time with his family and friends. Johnny was a good husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Terri Floyd, are his daughter, Samantha (Dan) Rowback of Myrtle Beach; sons, Josh Howard of Scranton and Ronnie Howard of Olanta; sisters, Judy Ray of Lake City, Vonda (John) Worrell of Cades, Jane Parker of Marsbluff, Karen Floyd and Lorene Floyd, both of Scranton; brother, Wayne (Judi) Floyd of Kingstree; grandchildren, Rylan Howard of Coward, Haley Rowback of Myrtle Beach, Mya Howard, Hayden Howard and Hunter Howard, all of Lake City; several nieces and nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by a son, Allen Ray Floyd.
Funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Shiloh Church Of God Of Prophecy. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Shiloh Church Of God Of Prophecy.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests for everyone to wear a mask and please maintain the 6 foot social distancing. The family also requests everyone to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging one another.
