John Lee, Jr. Obituary

John Pressley Lee, Jr., 47, husband of the late Barbara Yarborough Lee, died Friday, April 23, 2021, at his residence.

John was born on March 3, 1974 in Florence, son of John Pressley Lee, Sr. and Toni Cusack. He was a graduate of Lake City High School and was a Roofer and Contractor for over 30 years. John attended Unity Christian Fellowship and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are his daughter, Candice (Hunter Lee) Dease of Scranton; granddaughter, Kemeri Lee of Scranton; mother, Toni (Richard McKenzie) Cusack of Kingstree; father, John Pressley Lee, Sr. of Coward; great grandmother, Lillie Miles of Lake City; sisters, Nikki Lee Sheena Edwards; and brothers, Tyler Lee and Shawn Matthews.  

John was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Junior Lee and Peachie Morris; maternal grandparents, James R. Cusack, I "Jimmy" and Dean Miles Patillo; maternal great-grandfather, Herbert Miles.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Upper Lee Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michael and Sherry Williams for their love and support, also to Allyson Carraway for her friendship to John.
