Hubert Allen Daniels, Sr.

Hubert Allen Daniels, Sr., 79, husband of Faye Hayes Daniels, died Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Lake City Community Hospital.

Mr. Daniels was born on October 24, 1942, in Hannah, son of the late Henry Wadsworth Daniels and Crystoline Andrew Daniels. He was a member of New Town Free Will Baptist Church and retired as a truck driver after 49 years. Mr. Daniels loved fishing, horses, tractors, farming, watching westerns and gatherings where the family ate together.  

Surviving in addition to his wife, Faye Daniels of Scranton; son, Allen (Lisa) Daniels of Johnsonville; daughter, Tammy Meade of Johnsonville; grandchildren, David Daniels of Johnsonville, Michael Daniels of Darlington, Eric Daniels of Myrtle Beach, Amber Meade of Johnsonville, and Kyle (Katelyn) Meade of Groton, Connecticut; four great grandchildren; sister, Catherine Mims of Kingstree; brother, Roger Daniels of Johnsonville; and a number of nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at New Town Free Will Baptist Church, Lake City, with burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, to follow at St. John Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, prior to the funeral.
