Gloria Ann Stone

Mrs. Gloria Ann Stone, 71, of Pamplico, wife of Randy “Shagg” Stone, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Stone was born on November 3, 1952, in Florence County, daughter of the late Raymond Zollie Stone and Mattie Wise Stone. She was a graduate of Hannah Pamplico High School and attended USC, Florence Extension. Mrs. Gloria was a member of Unity Original Free Will Baptist Church of Johnsonville and enjoyed a 50-year career at ESAB of Florence. She was a kind loving wife and grandmother, who dedicated her life to the happiness and wellbeing of her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Randy “Shagg” Stone, of Pamplico are her daughters, Tara (Al) McWhite of Myrtle Beach and Tiffany Stone (Glenn Vause) of Timmonsville; son, Kyle Stone of Pamplico; sister, Lynda Gaye (Mervyn) Poston of Columbia; seven grandsons, Dyllon McWhite, Noah McWhite, Cameron McWhite and Jacob McWhite, Austin Bellamy, Aidan Bellamy and Ian Bellamy, all of Myrtle Beach; many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Danny Stone.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 East Hwy 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC. Burial will follow at Prosser Cemetery, 3359 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
