Ms. Linda Fay Welch, 56, of Turbeville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Ms. Welch was born on October 17, 1967, in Timmonsville, daughter of Peggy Welch Lee and the late Glen Welch. She worked for BCBS for 14 years and attended New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church. Fay was a mother to all and was called “Ma Fay”. She was an energetic, spunky and loveable person. Fay loved flowers and was an animal lover, especially her dog, Roxie. She touched so many lives and will be missed by so many.
Surviving are her daughter, Brittany Tedder; mother, Peggy Lee; step-children, Dana (Trey) Belangia, Craig (April) Sims, and DJ (Tabitha) Sims; brother, Russell Welch; adopted children, Teresa Byrd, Christopher Nesmith, Sincere Graham, Abigal Skvarek, Dakota Skvarek, Tamera Ingle, Darrell Range, Tracey Evans, and Tammy Evans; step-grandchildren, Re’ven Walker, Kainn Fowler, Timmy (Sharon) Perritt, Tripp Fowler, Christian Greene, Makinley Belangia, Stephanie Belangia, Blakely Sims, Lilly Belangia, Kali Sims, Berkleigh Poston, and Hunterlynn Sims; step great grandchildren, William Hunner-Lee Fowler, Raleigh Walker, Remi Walker, and Beckham Sawyer Perritt; special adopted grandchildren, Quinton (Haley) Blackwell, Crisslyn (Christian) Sams, and Charles (Kelsey) Blackwell; special niece & nephew, Kahbree Tedder and Baylor Tedder; special friend for 7 years, Damien Erwin; aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Welch was preceded in death by her father, Glen Welch; grandparents, R.B. & Martha Benton and Jake & Hester Welch; adopted son, Matthew Holloman; grandfather, A.L. Parrott; step-father, Ray Lee.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
