Ellis David Evans

Ellis David Evans, Sr., 53, husband of Laura Cooper Evans, died Friday, January 14, 2022.

Mr. Evans was born on May 12, 1968, in Timmonsville, son of Ellie Evans and the late Evelyn Miles Evans. He was a retired carpenter, enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his father, Ellie Evans, is his wife, Laura C. Evans, of Lake City; children, Neely Black of Lake City, Sara Carraway, of Florence, Holly Haselden, Ellis David Evans, Jr., Brian G. Evans and William (Angel) Evans, all of Lake City, and Kayla (James) Wilson, of Scranton; brother, Dean (Christy) Evans; sister, Melissa Evans; grandchildren, Luke, Sklyar, Braydn, Blaize, Iris, Bentley, Brooklyn, Alvah, Sklyer, Carolina and Emily; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
