Eddie Jones, Jr.

Donald Edward "Eddie" Jones, Jr., 44, husband of Kayla Brown Jones, died Monday, March 29, 2021, at his residence.

Eddie was born on June 28, 1976 in Florence, son of Cecil Yuvon Prosser Jones and the late Donald E. Jones. He was a graduate of East Clarendon High School. Eddie was a Telecommunications Supervisor with Clarendon County 911 and owner/operator of Eddie's Lawn Care, LLC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife, Kayla Brown Jones of Turbeville; mother, Cecil Yuvon Jones of Lake City; sister, Marsha Jones Altman of Florence; nephew, Dillon Altman; nieces, Alana Altman and Cheyenne Daniels; sister-in-law, Sydney (Jonathan) Daniels of Coward; and mother and father-in-law, Sheila and Steven Brown, of Kingstree.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
