Derryl Louisa Moore McCutcheon, 78, wife of the late John Milton McCutcheon, Sr., died Thursday, January 16, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. McCutcheon was born on October 27, 1941 in Olanta, daughter of the late Samuel Ashby Moore and Johnnie Mae Player Moore Truluck. She was a member of Lake City First Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was employed with Dud Cooke Motor Express for 25 years and with Moore & Associates Insurance for more than 30 years.
Surviving are her children, Traci M. McCutcheon of Lake City and John (Daisy) McCutcheon of Camden; granddaughters, Saylor Jane McCutcheon and Emma Sage McCutcheon, both of Camden; sisters-in-law, Joyce Belk Moore of Georgetown, Betty McCutcheon Whitehead of Florence, Patsy (Jimmy) Brown of Beaufort and Janice (James) Guy of Scranton; nieces and nephews, Sheryl Ann Phillips (Ron) Duncan, Stevie (Mary Wallace) Phillips, Scotty (Kim) Phillips and Susan Moore (Wade) Harper, Dr. Robert (Joni) Whitehead, Randy (Tammy) McCutcheon, Jim (Shannon) Brown, Esq., Robert Brown, Jamie Guy, Martha (Jess) Nance, Ann (Jullian) Hannah, Rita (Jason) Andra and Laura Kelly (Amigon) Gimeno; and a friend, like a sister, Rhonda (Mike) Owens of Murrells Inlet.
Mrs. McCutcheon was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanelle Moore Phillips and Samuel Ashby Moore; sisters-in-law, Janie McCutcheon Floyd and Frances McCutcheon Buddin; brothers-in-law, Henry Eugene "Butch" McCutcheon, Robert Steve "Red" Phillips and Carlisle Willis Buddin; nephews, Henry Eugene "Rocky" McCutcheon, Roger Ingram Moore, William LeRoy Moore and Gregory Samuel Moore; and niece, Amy Michelle Guy.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Lake City First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will be private at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Social Hall at Lake City First Baptist Church.
