Wesley David Powell, 36, husband of Sueann Gardner Powell, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.
David was born on April 29, 1984 in Florence County, son of Wayne Mervin Powell and the late Susan Dennis Powell. He attended Faith Holiness Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are his wife, Sueann Powell of Coward; son, Michael Flanigan-Powell of Coward; father, Wayne Mervin (Dedri) Powell of Coward; brother, Wayne (Dana) Powell of Coward; nephew, Harper Powell; grandmother, Vera Anderson of Florence; special uncle, Billy Powell of Coward; special cousin, Rocky (Lisa) Powell of Coward; brother-in-law, Richard Myers and special friend, Joey Baxley of Coward.
David was preceded in death by his nephew, Mason Powell and his father-in-law, Donald Gardner.
A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 PM, Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.
