Darlene (McClam) Evans

Darlene "Doody" Evans, 54, wife of the late Richard David Evans, died Friday, April 23, 2021, at McNair Memorial Rehab in Lake City.

Mrs. Evans was born on August 14, 1966 in Florence, daughter of Barbara Ann Farmer McClam and the late Harry Luther McClam.

Surviving are her daughter, Hannah Evans of Greeleyville; son, Christopher Evans of Greeleyville; grandson, Richard Evans of Greeleyville; sister, Vickey McClam of Shelbyville, TN and Vickey's children, Kasey (Jon) Gattis and Ashley Harrell; and her sister, Brenda (Dallas) Martin of Coward, and Brenda's children, James Martin and Sandy Ann Howard; six great nephews and one great niece.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Evans; and a sister, Barbara Gail McClam.

Graveside services will be 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.

Mrs. Evans will be available for viewing at Carolina Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

The family will meet at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Coward Church of God for fellowship before the services.
