Dannie Keith Rogers

Dannie Keith Rogers, 65, husband of Carolyn Gaymon Rogers, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home.

Mr. Rogers was born on April 11, 1956, in Florence County, son of the late Edward Theron Rogers and Fannie Britton Rogers. Dannie was a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and Florence Darlington Technical College. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and was a self-employed electrician. Mr. Rogers was a Shriner and life member of Pamplico Masonic Lodge #324.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Carolyn Gaymon Rogers of Effingham, are his children, Sonia (Adam) Parnell of Scranton, Brandi Rogers McClary of Effingham, April (Reese) Hickman of Olanta, Angel (Chris) Owens of Scranton, Dory (Timmy) Rauch of Effingham, Justin (Jennifer) Rogers of Pace, Florida and Whitney (Travis) Coker of Scranton; brother, Roy L. Moore of Coward; 34 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; special friends, Barry Frick of Scranton, Brian Hudson of Effingham and Butch Rodgers of Scranton.. and many more.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by siblings, Clarence “Doodlebug” Rogers and Jackie Parrott.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Hebron Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home.
