Christian Marie Spires

Christian Marie Spires, 20, died Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Christian was born on February 29, 2000, daughter of Bonnie Flowers Spires and the late Paul Wayne Spires. She attended Lake City High School and was a member of Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church. Christian was known for her free spirit and was loved by everyone.

Surviving are her mother, Bonnie Spires of Coward; son, Paul Carter Parker; sister, Ebbie (Josh Coward) Matthews of Coward; brother, Ryan Spires of California and Chris Spires of Camp Lejeune, NC; paternal grandparents, Robert and Faye Spires of St. Matthews; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Hutchinson; maternal grandfather, William Lee Flowers of Greeleyville; nieces, Alaina Matthews, Ava Kate Coward and Ella Sprires; aunts and uncles, Beth and Steve Hursey of Darlington; Billy Flowers of Olanta, Laverne and Michelle Spires of Scranton and Brent Spires of Coward.

Christian was preceded in death by her father, Paul Wayne Spires.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Due to COVID-19, the family request for everyone to wear a mask and please maintain the 6 foot social distancing.  The family also requests everyone to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging one another.
