Boyce Alvin Turner, 66 of Hannah, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021, at MUSC Health in Florence.
Boyce was born on June 16, 1954 in Florence, SC, son of the late Legare Adger "Pomp" Turner and Georgie Lee Poston Turner. He graduated from Hannah Pamplico High School. Boyce was a farmer, welder and truck driver for Lewis Truck Lines in Conway, SC. He was a member of Hannah Masonic Lodge #298 and was an Omar Shriner. Boyce was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing and cooking. He loved to host the annual family BBQ each December where everyone was invited to come and fellowship.
Boyce is survived by his brother, Carey Legare (Debbie) Turner. He was a loving and caring uncle to two nephews, David Legare (Rebecca) Miller of Florence and Carey Legare (Lyndsay) Turner, Jr. of Sumter and one niece, Sarah Leanne Miller of Florence; and a brother-in-law, David (Beth) Miller of Pamplico.
In addition of his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Arawana Turner Miller.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Prosser Cemetery, located on Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC. Please observe the COVID-19 guidelines.
