Blanche Jacqueline “Jackie” Lamb, 85, of Lake City, widow of the late Sidney O. Lamb, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Lamb was born on April 16, 1939, in Florence County, daughter of the late Wallace L. Fryar and Zuline O. Lowder Fryar. She was a faithful member of Lynches River Free Will Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mrs. Lamb also served her Lake City Community over the years and was always known for her smile and kindness.
Surviving are her son Kenneth O. (Janice) Lamb of Lake City; daughter, Angela D. Lamb of Lake City; grandchildren, Nathaniel J. Lamb, Ryan Derrick and Wesley Derrick, all of Florence; great grandchildren, Grayson Derrick and Rylan Derrick; siblings, Annette Browder, Linda (Dexter) Rogers, Diane (Tommy) Lowder, and Wally (Susan) Fryar; niece, Terri Lamb (Shawn) Hudson of Effingham.
Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by a brother, Legrand Buck Fryar.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home and at other times, the home of Mrs. Jackie Lamb.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lynches River Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
