Belva (Evans) Powers

Belva Evans Powers, 86, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at her son's residence.

Mrs. Powers was born on February 1, 1934 in Florence County, daughter of the late Herbert Don Evans and Beulah Mae McElveen Evans.  She was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from SCDOT.

Surviving are her sons, Jimmy A. Powers, Jr., of Timmonsville and Ronald D. (Diane) Evans in Darlington; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Jean Hurst and Donnie Mae Barrineau, both of Lake City, and Betty E. Vadney of Conyers, GA.

Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Evans, Devon Evans, Johnny Evans and Bert Evans.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Lake City Memorial Park.
