Beelah Lee Haselden, 93, wife of the late Elbert Harrison Haselden, died Monday, June 20, 2022, at Lake City Community Hospital, after an illness.
Mrs. Haselden was born on January 1, 1929, in Florence County, daughter of the late Beely Leo Powell and Vadie Poston Marsh. She was a member of Johnsonville Church of God and retired from Wellman Industries.
Surviving are her children, James Elbert Haselden of Johnsonville, Ronald Gene Haselden of Columbia, Stephen Michael (Debra) Haselden of Spartanburg, Bryan Keith (Sara) Haselden of Lake City, Carolyn Ann Haselden (Michael Shea) Lewis of Hemingway; half-sisters, Joyce Lee (Reverend Berry) McKenzie of Turbeville, Doris Lee McKenzie and Ethel Lee Avant, both of Georgetown; grandchildren, Jaimie Holland (James) Butler, Bryan Lucas Haselden, Brandi Haselden Carter, Shannon (Kenny) Thompson, Lauren Lewis (Charles) Suggs, Mason Shea Lewis, Robert O. Horton, Owens (Tammy) Horton, Jr., Steven Brock Horton and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2022, at Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Old Johnsonville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 E. Highway 378 ByPass, Scranton, SC, 29591.
