William Adrian "Katfish" Carey

Mr. William Adrian "Katfish" Carey, 70, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at home after an illness.

Graveside funeral service will be 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, prior to services.

Mr. Carey was born September 18, 1947, in Winnsboro, SC, a son of the late William Dallas Carey and Iva Williams Carey.  He was a US Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.  Mr. Carey was a retired carpenter and enjoyed playing golf.

Surviving is his wife, Kay Boatwright Floyd of Kingstree; daughter, Penny Lynn Carey of Lithia, FL; son, Shane (Kelly) Carey of Colorado; 4 grandchildren;  brothers, Farrell (Faye) Carey of Columbia and Spencer (Pam) Carey of Marianna, FL; sister, Jo Ava (Patrick) Norungolo of Spartanburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carey was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Carey; and half-brother, J.E. Arnette.
