Wilda Carol Lee Obituary

Wilda Carol Lee, 51, died Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Lake City Community Hospital following an illness.

Wilda Carol was born on July 29, 1966 in Moncks Corner, daughter of Lydia Grinslade Kemp and the late Carl Godwin.  She loved fishing and Florida State Seminoles Football.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Lee of the home; her mother, Lydia Kemp and husband, John of Lakeland, FL; paternal grandmother, Wilda Grinslade of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Wanda Godwin of Lakeland, FL, Susan Godwin and Jean Godwin, both of Lake City; brothers, Danny (Sara) Godwin of Kingstree and Stanley (Scarlett) Godwin, of Raleigh, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Wilda Carol was preceded in death by her father, Carl Godwin; grandmother, Victoria Green; grandfather, Claude Grinslade; sister, Janet Murdock; and two brothers, Carl (Bubba) Godwin and John Lee, Jr.

Memorial services will be 4:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the church.
