Willie LeWayne "Wayne" Powell, 63, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence, after an illness.
Wayne was born on October 16, 1955 in Florence County, son of the late Willie David Powell and Elizabeth Bernice Poston Powell. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Lake City. Wayne loved the Lord, was constantly reading his Bible and praying. We will miss Wayne, but we will always remember his love, his sense of humor and words of wisdom.
