Steve Monts

Steven Gregg Monts, 56, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Steve was born in Lexington County on March 30, 1962, son of the late Clinton Gregg Monts and Dorothy Smith Monts.

Surviving are his companion, Linda J. Floyd of Lake City; Linda's children, Don LaRue Floyd, Travis Floyd, Daniel (Renee) Floyd; grandchildren, Riley Jo Roberts, Emilee A. Pridgen and Thomas D. McGuire; best friend, Gayla (Jay) Hardee; siblings, Wanda (Mike) Branch, Catrina Allen and Johnathan Monts; Steve's children, Nikki, Sam and Chris and their mother, Mary Ann Monts.   

Steve was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Belle Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
