Roland G Ferland

Mr. Roland G. Ferland, 76, of Johnsonville, husband of Sherry M. Ferland, passed Saturday, September 23, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House, with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Ferland was born on October 13, 1940 in Providence, RI, a son of the late Origene and Annette Ferland.  He was a veteran of the United States Marines.  Mr. Ferland was a retired truck driver/diesel mechanic for C-Line.

Surviving are his wife, Sherry Marlow Ferland of Johnsonville; children, Diane (Kirk) Lord of Providence, RI, Joseph Ferland of Illinois, Roland (Kristian) Ferland of Johnston, RI, Michelle F. Smith of Hemingway, Jennifer (Thad) Rogers of Florence and Olivia Floyd of Lake City; a number of grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 5:00 PM, Monday, September 25, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, SC.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
