Rhett Moore, 70, husband of Dorothy Ridgle Moore, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Regency Hospital, Florence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy, Lake City, with burial to follow at Antwine-Moore Family Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mr. Moore was born on April 10, 1947 in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Willie David Moore and Jessie Belle Mishau Moore. He was a Lay Minister and the retired owner/operator of Moore Painting.  Mr. Moore enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, he also enjoyed going to flea markets and loved his family and church.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy R. Moore of Kingstree; children, Sharon Moore Kirkland of St. Stephens, Rhett Edward "Bubba" (Michelle) Moore, II of Lake City, Cindy Lynn Moore of N. Myrtle Beach, Marilyn Jeanie Moore of Kingstree, Darlene Dolly (Don) Moore of Hanahan and Aaron Timothy (Celena) Moore of Sumter; nine grandchildren; sisters, Ales Conyers and Mary (Grady) Tisdale, both of Kingstree, and Hilda (Donnie) Kirby of Camp Branch; brothers, Jimmy Moore and Kenneth (Linda Sue) Moore, both of Kingstree; and a special friend, Calvin Lee.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by sisters, Irene and Maybelle; brother, Heyward; and a son-in-law, Daniel Kirkland, Sr.
