Rachel McKenzie Coker, 74, wife of J. M. Coker, died Friday, November 3, 2017, at her residence.
Mrs. Coker was born on August 29, 1943 in Florence County, daughter of the late JW Osborne and Elena Parrott Osborne. She was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, J. M. Coker of Wedgefield; her children, Karen M. (Mack) Evans of Coward, Pam M. (Tommy) Lawhon of Scranton, Casey Pollard of Scranton, David Pollard of New Orleans, Felecia (Danny Ray) Johnson of Cussac Crossroads, Tammy (Bobby) Schwabenbauer of Wedgefield, Dwight "Bobo" (Lisa) Coker of Dalzell, and Colon (Jennie) Coker of Pinewood; brother, Rondal Osborne of Lake City; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kirklen McKenzie; a grandson, Kirk Smith.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Barrineau Pentecostal PHoliness Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 5, 2017, prior to funeral service at the church.
