"Peachie" Lee Morris

"Peachie" Lee Morris, 84,of Scranton, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at her residence, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2017, at Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Coward, with burial to follow in Upper Lee Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

"Peachie" was born on March 25, 1933, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Jim Press Floyd and Ethel Powell Floyd. She attended Chris Logan Beauty School and retired after over 20 years as a hairdresser and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. "Peachie" was first married to the late Clinton Junior Lee and later to the late Don E. Morris. She was a member of Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, John Pressley Lee of Scranton, Teresa Lee (Tommy) Eskridge of Florence, Clinton L. Lee and Markley B. (Belinda) Lee, both of Scranton; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special nephew, Randolph Welch; and special friends, George "Buck" Lee and Henry Gaymon.

"Peachie" was preceded in death  two brothers and seven sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 240, Coward, SC 29530.
