Miriam (Gaskins) Myers

Miriam Gaskins Myers, 87, wife of the late William Armstrong, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. 

Mrs. Myers was born in Florence County on August 16, 1930, daughter of the late Rupert C. and Betty Gaskins McElveen. 

She is survived by a son, William "Will" Armstrong Myers, III; granddaughter, Olivia Myers; many nieces and nephews; and a "special" nephew, Dusty Broad of Charleston and his grandchildren, Jamie Matthews and his sister Reva McKenzie . 

She was predeceased by her sisters, Lucy G. Cantey, Thetis G. Lamb and Natalie G. Durham and brother, Jack W. Gaskins. 

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, November 3, 2017 at Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
