Mallory Thomas Strickland

Mallory Thomas Strickland, 70, husband of Nancy Marie Lee Strickland, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House, after an illness.

Mr. Strickland was born January 20, 1949 in Florence County, son of the late Melvin Thomas Strickland and Myrtie Yarborough Strickland. He was a member of Camp Branch PH Church and retired from Thomlinson & McWhite of Lake City. He was a member of Robert Burns Masonic Lodge of Coward and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and especially loved  spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Craig (Ashley) Strickland of Scranton; daughter, DeeAnna Strickland of Scranton; grandchildren, Connor Strickland, Chase Strickland, Justin Nebergall, Austin Nebergall; great grandchildren, Landon, Kevin, and Sophia; brother, Leon (Mildred) Yarborough of Scranton.

Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by a brother, Hilton Strickland.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2019 at Carolina Funeral Home with burial to follow with Masonic Rites at Yarborough Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home.
