Lt Col USAF (Ret.) Steven Flowers Obituary
Retired Lieutenant Colonel USAF Steven Wylie Flowers passed away peacefully at the age of 57, on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, SC.
Steven “Stevie” Flowers was born November 18, 1960 in Florence, SC to Dora “Tekie” Flowers and Bobby Flowers. After graduating from The Citadel in 1983 with a B.S. in Physical Education, Steven proudly served the United States Air Force with twenty years of active duty service, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Steven is survived by his mother, Dora “Tekie” Flowers, his father, Bobby Flowers, and his son, William Stevenson (Lacey) Flowers.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM, Thursday March 22, 2018, at New Zion Baptist Church located at 1231 McAllister Mill Road, Scranton, SC 29591. Funeral service and burial, with full military honors, will follow at New Zion Baptist Church beginning at 3:00 P.M.
