Louise (Cockfield) Keefe

Louise Cockfield Keefe, 81, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Commander Nursing Center, after an illness.

Mrs. Keefe was born on September 10, 1937, in Florence County, daughter of the late Perry David Cockfield and Eunice McCutcheon Cockfield Beckworth. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and attended Florence Business School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and once worked with her brother at Jim's IGA. In 1978, Mrs. Keefe worked in Outside Sales for Coastal Sanitary Supply and retired after 37 years of service.

Surviving are her son, Perry (Jennifer) Keefe of Lowell, AR; grandchildren, Kacey Louise (Joe) Serrano of Fayetteville, AR, Darian Nicole Keefe of Bentonville, AR and Austin Thomas Keefe of Bentonville, AR; great grandson, Baylor Keefe of Bentonville, AR; brother, David "Buck" (Norma) Cockfield of Florence; nephews, Brian Cockfield of Lake City and Jason (Laurel) Cockfield of Charleston.

Mrs. Keefe was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Lorraine Keefe.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with private burial at Lake City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, prior to the services at the funeral home.
