Lavon Robinson

Lavon Robinson, 81, husband of the late Allie Willene Hasting Robinson, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Tabernacle in the Wilderness, Scranton, with burial to follow at Hewett Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mr. Robinson was born on May 1, 1937, son of the late Julian Robinson and Gladys Matthews Robinson.  He was a retired pastor and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Dale Robinson, Mark Robinson, Lisa Robinson, Brian Robinson, Matthew Robinson, Michael Love and Sharon Robinson; stepdaughter, Gina Britt (Frankie); grandchildren, Haley Gibbons, Cameron Robinson, Dustin Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Shannon Robinson, Lori Robinson, Mark Robinson, Matt Robinson, Jonathan Robinson, Tristan Love, Kadence Roberts and Damien Mann; brothers, Thomas Robinson, Wilbur Robinson and Keith Robinson; and a sister, Mae Bryant.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Robinson.
